Needle & Ink

I started drawing and creating art pieces at an early age. Proudly bringing home awards to my family, it was nice to have something to boost about as the youngest boy in a family of four. Having had many challenges in school with the 'fundamentals' due to late diagnosis of a hearing deficit. Being creative was something that I didn't struggle with and kept me busy out of trouble making in class 'haha'.  It was later discovered that I had significant hearing issues and artwork kept me occupied and distracted though hospital visits and procedures. My passion for creating things continued throughout high school. Practical applications though wood working and then after learning how to weld, metal manipulation was added to the list. After working in fabrication and feeling unfulfilled, I began to explore the  world of permanent pieces with the best canvas of all. The largest organ on the body. Skin. I am proud to have been working independently for the last few years and I am proud to now have created a welcoming studio to provide work in. I look forward to continued growth in the industry in this new space.
